That otaku dork guy – you know, the one who saw, supported and was generally creepy to a tiny upstart idol in that flashback – is packing away his things. His idol things. Because that idol doesn't care about him anymore since she went to the big time. Proof: if she was worthy of his support, she would have never gotten those higher-pay, higher-publicity venues! She would've stayed at the one bar he likes.
He replaces her with an idol that will truly never leave his side.
