Where are your ideals now, you crummy scientists with your "oracle cell?" The world is now depressing. Dusty. Technological. Interwoven with those weird cuts from edgy live-action movies where someone is doing something kind of boring and mundane, but it gets sped way up and layered with about a million effects for half a second, thus making this mundane action look.....edgy.

But Lenka can't get out on the battlefield yet! He's gotta train, train, train! But when people are wheeling in on hospital beds and dying now, who even needs that "preparedness" crap? Can anything console him in this time of deep perturbation?

But you know what? That's okay. Lenka gamed the digital systems so that he can fight on the battlefield early. This is truly where rookies of his ilk belong. He watches cool anime people beat up monsters in the rubble, but can he hope to compare with their toughness, their strategy, their wit? Can he really surpass this guy who is just standing on a cliff shooting?
