Ushio and Tora Episode 6: Sea of Ayakashi - Bobble Reviews

It's the beach episode! Finally, everyone can get the sultry seaside shots of Tora they've so desperately wanted.

Everyone just suddenly gets to come to the beach because one of the two potential-love-interest girls has a great extended family, unlike Ushio with his stupid idiot beat-up-kids take-long-vacations do-nothing-even-good dad.

In stark contrast to Ushio's family living on a "unique and educational historical site."

But it can't be all fun in the sun. There are so many villains that I don't know who the real antagonist of the episode could be.

Could it be this kid?

This kid?

The elastic ghost of Monkey D. Luffy?
Oh! Yeah, definitely these three guys.

Whoopssss never mind!

Whuh?

EEEYAAAAAAAAAAGH!!

Well, I guess logically it'd be the gigantic monster whose entire body can't be contained by the screen in any given shot.

Yeah, you're right.

Oh No!!! Tsundere Girl with Black Hairs and Boy with Gun went sailing off into a little ocean cave, but instead of going into a spooky danger cave like they wanted, they just got straight-up eaten by the massive sea cucumber that you sort of half-see above.

Gets great reception!

Like in every episode, Ushio has to grab his spear and grab his wig and tear the cucumber apart and save everyone...but not before revealing who the true enemy is. You see, the boy with the gun doesn't have a mom, and Ushio doesn't have a mom, probably because those mothers cruelly left them, by dying. Ushio gives some inspiring legacy words.

Gut 'er! That'll show 'er for getting killed!

I guess it works because then all four of them - the Oosh, the Tora, and the Tsundere and the Boy in Tora's fat arms - leave the stomach. It releases a bunch of yellow glow garbage.

And everybody happily returns home, having learned a lesson along the way. I hope that you readers have learned those valuable lessons, too, by way of my informative and accurate reviews. For whatever reason, the one thing they don't all seem to learn and retain is the fact that huge ocean-snake monsters and Ushio's magical powers exist.

I-it's not like getting really long power hair changes peoples' voices...or is it?
