Million Doll Episode 5 - Bobble Reviews

With that kind of gaze, he's done with life.

Welcome to the best-ever Itorio concert the world has ever seen! The gals are looking better than ever. Marginally.

They're pulling out all the stops this time. Not only are they wearing their one and only set of costumes, but they're also singing their one and only song. There are some things you just can't improve upon, some things in life you don't change. Which of course begs the question: will Itorio become one of the greats, stand the test of time?

Answer: approx. 4 minutes, as per individual episode runtime.

Meanwhile, the stooges in the crowd rave mercilessly!

They're trying to politely pretend that this isn't the most embarrassing performance they've ever seen.

"Wow!" They did so "great!" Itorio is so...innovative!! They could even go...m-m-m-major!!!!!

Guess who else in the crowd was watching? That's right. It's the other long-haired idol who apparently is not exactly the same as on-stage Buttercup here, with one hand perched dramatically upon yon breast. ...Wait. Wait. Wait wait wait. This concert already happened.

Episode six...
...and episode one! Holy crap! The only thing that changed is that they now have a budget! Of two dollars!

Don't give me any "they just did the same venue twice and the same costumes and the same songs and mostly if not exactly the same audience" bogus bully. This could only be the same night twice. Look closely. These two shots include THE SAME SHIRT GUYS.

You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? Yeah. Starting to look an awful lot like a time loop. I...didn't think it was possible, that a four-minute idol show could have a complex, psychologically-layered plot like this. Tune in next week for what will no doubt stand henceforth as the greatest story arc to ever grace Million Doll: Endless Four.

You know, because it's four minutes...and it's a time loop.
