Ranpo Kitan Episode 6: A Glimpse Into Hell - Bobble Reviews

It's the sitcom episode. Hell is right.

A mystery cat has appeared at super-sleuth Akechi's doorstep — and while his subordinate Kobayashi might adore it, he can't wait 'til that furry friend is gone, baby, gone. Three's company, but four's a crowd! Luckily, Purple Hair has a solution.

Ufortunately his memory is worse than Kobe's when it comes to his own parents.

The zany guests don't stop there. Guess who's comin' to dinner!!

*thunderous studio applause*

*overwhelming studio applause*

Begrudgingly, Episode 3's beloved savior of littlegirlkind is allowed entry. He may have a belt that explodes in one hour, but he's also got...a paper bag of comedy gold.

The Giggles Don't Quittle !

They're about to do the cutting-bomb-wires shtick, but their full house is "saved" by the bell. The doorbell, that is. That's right; another not-so-perfect stranger! — and a perfectly little one, at that...!

Four Men And A Cat And A Baby And A Bomb And A Bag And A Bang Theory The Half Men

But here's the twist — terrorists!

This is the joke they used the commercial break on.

The whole big happy family spends several minutes fretting about how to get the twelve-or-so angry men downstairs to stop screaming about how they're robbing for their revolution, but ultimately they remember "they put the bomb on me*." Kobe pulls out his Batman deduction skills** to decode the bomb code and avoid the wire-trimming mess!

* Don't you tell me that You Put the Bomb On Me and 12 Angry Men aren't sitcoms. Where was this attitude when I referenced Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Exactly.

** Circa 1960's.

Yaaay! Adam West would be proud!

Where do we put the bomb? Uhhhh. Hawk it.

So what what the purpose of all this mess? There has to be one! To what end were these means? Or perhaps this all means...nothing?????

Neither of these lines of thinking are wrong. Someway, somehow, this was all a setup...

...for a birthday celebration for somebody completely different.

Who is celebrating her own birthday at them.

Well, surely they can keep the baby?

Please take the cat. Take the cat. Take them both. Take the cat too. No? Okay...

Well, at least I guess these police guys are still existent.
