Despite this being that purple-haired lady and not the Itorio group that tends to grace the show's opening, her performance is shockingly (or perhaps not shockingly at all) embarrassing.

We follow her as she goes to her manager's office. But that manager's so mean. He smokes! And he talks crap about Itorio just because they're a rookie idol group that wants to go major! He calls that "cocky!" I don't know what world he's livin' in!

"Fieh! I scoff at such thoughts! Do you hear me?! Scoff!!"

Speaking of Itorio, I'm sure their lives are all hectic.

Welp, I'm sure visiting that other idol's performance will keep us busy, and indeed it does. We see the top otaku stooge looking austere, as otaku stooges are quite wont to do. And lo, verily did his fellow, lesser stooges cast eyes upon him.

And verily did they disrespect him, for they do misjudge his fave idol Mariko's worth. He brings judgment upon them with the speed of a mighty thunderbolt, with a—

He's only got one thing to say about Itorio:

And he'll do it the only way he knows how: buying up all of Mariko's CDs and giving them away and spreading the good word while movie music plays, the kind of movie music where newsreels are rolling and a 1930's paper spins up in your face, one that, in this case, would be plastered with a headline reading something like, "LOCAL GEEK MAN GIVES IDOL LASS A BOOST - Has Done This Before And Learned Nothing; With Time, Will Ditch Her."
