They got in on the OPPOSITE side of the city barriers!! So...WHY DON’T YOU HAVE PEOPLE SITTING ALL OVER THE WALL WHO CAN DO THE LASERY THING

At the very least, Red starts using her gun the right way. 

This is like if there was a story where people fought zombies, and could blow up 1,000,000 of them in one punch, but everyone was still afraid of them.

They say there’s this ginormous number of bugs here because of the two “chimera” bugs going around, but unless there’s a “AHHH THE BUGS ARE WORKING TOGETHER NOW WE ARE GOING TO FACE BUG APOCALYPSE” overall plot by the ending, the hell was the point?! Just do “THERE IS ONE REALLY REALLY STRONG BUG OUT THERE AND THERE ARE A MILLION BILLION BUGS COMING IN WITH IT!” Besides, there’s still only like 8 people in this ‘SKY WIZARDS ACADEMY’ who’re actually outside beating these things to death, I thought you were a school with fireteams and magic weapons and everything! nope only 15 kids in this school and 5 only sit at the computers nice

Alright so the MC Team goes out to blow up the Head Bug. Great. Good luck team. Nobody else besides the one other team of people with names I don’t need to remember?

They blow up a lot of bugs. Then they blow up a lot more bugs. And they continue blowing up bugs. Boy these bugs blow up. They do more of that.

Oh no then they shoot out a laser that does

absolutely shit-all. You know, like when he got ate up by a giant laser in the first episode that completely failed to do bodily harm? I AM SO FRIGHTENED OF THE BUG POWER
So FINALLY one that looks like it’s worth shit shows up.

MANNNN, why couldn’t you just make the story about them fighting a whole bunch of THESE?!?! Yeah look see over here!

Boom! Damn, the city’s busted! Make all the attacks like that! Don’t have them hit a guy dead on and do shit all!

Look this one’s so BADD that MC’s gotta do some big fight moves now! He’s gonna go all Orochimaru Curse Seal, he’s gonna go all Hollow Ichigo, he’s gonna do all that Forbidden Special Technique stuff and it’s gonna be GREAT it’s gonna be COOL and DANGEROUS!!

Oh no! If only he’d focused on landing more than flying around while more homes and businesses get blasted apart before doing the one attack he was supposed to do from the beginning!!!

So he blew up the bug, and the other bugs leave, and everyone’s really happy because MC is just so so so so so damn cool. I’m so glad! Also the pervy obviously bad guy’s still here. 

OH WELL WHY DON’T YOU LOOK AT THAT HE FOUND AN EVIL BUG PIECE FROM WHEN MC WAS CUTTING HIM INSTEAD OF DOING THAT ONE-HIT KILL ATTACK

CONFIRMED: REST OF THE PLOT ALL MC’S FAULT FOR SHOWBOATING. WHAT A DICK.

You know what, I think that everyone else is right. They called him a Traitor because he was flaking out on his responsibilities after he had to start using a flying skateboard from being hit by a big weak laser beam. Everyone else ignored his mental pains caused by the possibly-damaging attack, and threw that hateful label on him. But he’s shown absolutely nothing remotely close to any negative side-effects of combat, he’s perfectly well-adjusted save for being a dick. He’s just ruined the rest of the story for everyone. He’s accidentally made this monster. He IS a Traitor.

Oh and also the girls lose the big game. 
 

WHY?!?! WHY DID THEY LOSE?!?! WHY COULDN’T WE SEE WHY!?! THEY TRAINED SO HARD WHY ARE THERE NO EXPLANATIONS COULDN’T YOU JUST GIVE IT TO US IN THE NEXT EPISODE
