Million Doll Episode 7 - Bobble Reviews

Thaaat's riiiiight! I'm re-entering the reviewing fray with the two shortest shows I could have possibly re-entered with. I'm taking it easy; I'm clearing away the lighter fare. Today, Dolls and Pillow Boys. Tomorrow, Dolls and Pillow Boys. The next day, about a million more Dolls. But don't worry; I haven't given up on actual, more-than-a-commercial-break-long shows entirely. For now...

Remember that we're following two teams in this anime: Team Itorio (rookie idol group) and Team Momoko (wow, finally remembered her name). This nerd girl at her computer is fighting for Itorio, trying to give them aaaaall the publicity with the help of their trendy new blog.

How does it make you feel, Momoko? To see everyone but you beloved???

Well then. Don't know what the heck emotion this is.
While Momoko is doing the same theme song from last time, Itorio is making leaps and bounds! They're evolving, growing stronger. I mean, their performance is just as dull and shame-worthy as ever, but — look at this!

But is Itorio big enough? Nope. These gals gotta make mo' monee, mo' moneeeeee...

And they're gonna do it, too, with the help of the league of super-critics.

Including this guy who's kind of stealing our gimmick...

...and this one who I seriously hope has no relation.

And so the little nerd girl traveled to the Digital World to beseech help from her three Rookie Digimon, who would later fuse together to fight for her as SmallCupOfHotChocolatemon.
Itorio is blissfully unaware that the Hand of Fate is actually the hand of...NEET...!!

*prolonged audience chortling* *claps* *claps* *claps* *claps* *claps*

"If we just keep doing nothing, maybe she'll think we don't hear her..."
The group is just chilling and typing in on their phones whilst simultaneously remaining perfectly still...when suddenly...tragedy strikes! You can't keep replying to fans on Twitter if you're fixing to go corporate!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that the implication is that she's upset not mainly because the system that produces such megahits as AKB48 is probably more restrictive even than, say, the bureaucratic group behind the average big-time teenybopper star in the United States, which will let stars act out and shake peoples' hands and throw water bottles at them and at least give the illusion of that kind of interaction with fans, only with idols you have even all of that restricted and you can't even send embarrassing "sexts" that you know you'll regret later, no, the implication is that she's upset because she loves all of the fans deep inside her heart.
