Here's something that feels like a blast from the comedy anime past. It's like a show from yesteryear, only...more embarrassing to watch!!

The moment you go from an intense cyberpunk monologue to four cute girls on remarkably bland backdrops,
you know what they want you to watch this for.

It's the ambiguous future, and there are three girls, and they live in an ambiguous cyberspace. But not for long! They have to earn their keep as "HackaDolls" by "advancing" people, or "hackadolling" them because this is wordplay that translates abominably (not sure it was any good in the first place). Even though they're wacky screw-ups, now they've got to go to Earth

Insert literally thousands of jokes about putting hot bodies on lines and otaku-related devolution here.

just gets funnier the more you say it!!!!!!!!!!

They help an upstart doujinshi artist by doing...um...silly and frenetic antics!

Let's be honest, this pretty much sums it up.

And this just makes me wonder why there's not a new comedy that looks like this
for more than 15 seconds oh right they need otaku bait.

But they're such great failures that despite everything, they can't get her to take her comic to a convention. Aww, phooey. They force-feed her instead.
