Boy, I’m so glad that the entire first half of the episode was devoted to how dead her mother is, like super freakin’ dead. Otherwise I could’ve maybe had an inkling of emotion over this part!
And ever since then, Red has been dedicated to practicing her Downward Swing sword attack, her one move.
