So does everybody remember that this is supposed to be the big filler arc?
Enter: Evil Aryan invader and Flying Robot Friend... |
And Jetsons flying car. |
Meanwhile, Osamu tries his best.
“Watch my speed, everybody! Huff, huff, blurf...” |
The squad’s gone out to a training camp where an eight year-old routinely outperforms him at everything he does—Yuma doesn’t count Yuma cheats yo. But boy, does this place have EVERYTHING!
Is this just a commercial for the official World Trigger hot springs lodge? |
The only thing they don’t have is cooking staff, so the crew’s gotta head out and buy something to eat. O-OH OH, BUT THEY DO HAVE CRAB PEOPLE!!
How thoughtful! |
This guy is the Crab Boss.
While Yuma and the Kids fight the original Crab Person, he sets about summoning additional crustaceans in a bid to take ‘em down, and steal their Trion Energy for himself.
What the heck?! Crab Jellyfish!? That doesn’t even HAVE a shell!! You’re reaching here, Filler Arc. |
oh no, osamu got hit, he couldn’t beat it I’m so surprised |
Hey Yuma got it thanks guys! |
They make a major note of the Neighbors using Border-like stealth and attack options, but right before the kill—
Crab Boss Ash Ketchum protects his ‘mon! |
Ash Ketchum is able to summon and de-summon Neighbors at his leisure, but once they’re dead, they’re dead. Also, they are quite affectionate.
Aww, how spooky. |
Quick last-second notes: He sics a bomb-bat-thingy onto Chika’s neck,
Ash’s got a buddy,
and Blondie’s in town.
It strangely feels as if they were really rushing to teach
everybody about the new enemy basics in this episode, to the point that OH SHIT
SHE’S GOT A BOMB ON HER took up ten seconds worth of implementation, build-up,
and et cetera. But, since now we’ve got those mechanics out of the way, maybe
the next ep’ll have more meat on it.
